Fun fact - I have driven the Fairmont hairpin.

...not during a race, mind. And in an automatic DS5. But there’s video of it! Skip to 1:13 if you don’t want to listen to some Hungarian gibberish before the deed.

Eau Rouge isn’t tight. Definitely not picking Arnage. The Lowes Hairpin would be more fun to drift around, but the Corkscrew would be harder.

Voting Fairmont because of Adrian Sutil’s dominance in that corner. It is a move I like to call “A full Sutil”. Many other drivers have tried, and failed. They pull off what is known as a “half sutil”

I believe this video contains a full sutil:

This is what happens if you can only do a half sutil:

I picked Eau Rouge, because I invariably overcook the other three in racing games.

So either you do a full Sutil or a full George. Easy pickings, then.

So you also overcook the Fairmont pin? I, meanwhile, brake and turn in a bit too early.

The Cutting’s more my swing, but cool choice.

Tomorrow I’ll do fast corners, and for my final trick, the big turns.

If I don’t understeer under braking into the wall, I usually bomf the wall on the exit because I get on the gas too soon.

Corkscrew. Granted it’s the only one I’ve actually driven in real life. It is so much fun when you get it just right.

I personally don’t get the cult following of the Corkscrew, I don’t remember where I saw it but one person in the industry was quoted as saying it’s just a downhill chicane.

Arnage is my choice, if you don’t get Indianapolis right before it then you’ll lose a second or two in that section.
